Barcelona Digital Technology Centre is a reference centre for the Catalan ICT industry in the areas of applied R+D, technology transfer and the promotion of innovation. His mission is to contribute to the growth of the Information and Communication Technology sector and to the development of the Knowledge Society. Barcelona Digital priority to R & D of ICT applied to three areas of specialization: Mobility, Health and Security.

The service portfolio of Barcelona Digital includes applied research and technological development, the promotion of research, obtaining funding for research and innovation, technological advice, specialized training and promotion and dissemination of ICT.

In parallel, Barcelona Digital manages an ICT Association of Innovative Enterprises (AEI) which aims to boost competitiveness in the ICT sector strength to a new corporate culture based on collaboration and open innovation.
