INREDIS
CENIT INREDIS "INterfaces de RElación entre el entorno y las personas con DIScapacidad" was approved in July 2007 as part of the Spanish government initiative INGENIO 2010 and is managed by CDTI (Centro de Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial).
The main objective of INREDIS is developing basic technologies to create channels of communication and interaction between people with special needs and their environment.
The research topics will focus on safety devices, channels of interaction, communication protocols and interoperability of systems, as well as on their applications to allow the social inclusion of people with disabilities.
INREDIS project addresses relevant technological goals in several areas of ICT. The research is divided into nine main activities or work packages which cover the main aspects to achieve a technological leap in the design of accessible and interpolating technology.
Private Foundation Centre CIM, CETEMMSA, CTM and Technology Transfer La Salle are part of this project and they have been hired as research centers.
