IPR in European projects
07-10-2010
Participate in collaborative projects, especially if they are Europeans, is a strategy that allow the interaction with other entities and businesses complementary to ours in order to achieve complex goals and enrich our R+D+i. In addition, such projects are encouraged, both nationally and internationally through FP7 calls as they provide an interesting source of funding, while minimizing the financial risk of the participants.
-The results of European projects are often a first step to get a new product or service to market and this is why it is essential to know the intellectual property rights (IPR, Intellectual Property Rights) associated with these results, before, during and after project implementation. To talk about what they are, focusing particularly on European projects, we will have the participation of Theo Stamatiadis, an expert on IPR in Theia. Some examples to show the practical aspects in various projects will be presented by Cristina Barragan, LEITAT and Brisa Burriel, UPC.
ACTec in collaboration with Fundació CIM and with the participation of ACC1Ó, LEITAT, Theia and UPC, are pleased to invite you to this event that will be held on October 7th from 9:15h to 13:45h in Sala d'Actes Edifici U (Campus Sud, UPC) and is framed within the commemoration of the 20th anniversary of Centre CIM.
